Someone who always looks out for you and sometimes looks at you as if they're worried about you?

Well there's this teacher who's my drama teacher and she always looks out for me in the corridors...Sometimes she looks at me and like stops...and looks really worried about me as she always know when there's something wrong with me!...I was wondering, really what does it mean?
