ARE ALLIGATOR SHOES OKAY TO WEAR?

I first want to say that I am a huge animal rights advocate and participate in several ways. I 'm no fan of hunting game either. However, living in Louisiana gives even me a different prospective on wearing gators. It's true they were almost hunted to extinction in the early 20th Century. Thankfully they are now thriving. Thriving so well that it is very common to have them at your door step in the morning. At times they are small and you can pick them up, play with them and easily take them back to the bayou. Then there are the 12 foot monsters that just had Rover for a snack. Not so adorable now. They also kill livestock. I'm ok with wearing gators, as long as the industry does so responsible. Here's a question for all the nay sayers, How many of you have leather shoes, belts purses, jackets? Keep in mind, the burger you had for lunch today may have been wearing the leather that you look so good in.
