Has anybody found an honest, home base, Internet business ?

I've been searching the Internet for a home base internet business for a while now, I'm shocked and sadden by how much scamming is going on -- It's really scary, why do people have to lie, cheat and steal to make money. I want to know if anybody has had a positive experience with home base Internet business and not something you signed up yesterday, rather something you've making $$$ for a while now. i know about ebay- it is great. thank you
