My cat is crazy and wild...everyone hates him. Help!?

My cat seems a little like the devil.... he bites (not too hard) everything and everyone, and you can't walk across the room without him running and grabbing your legs, sometimes biting them. He runs all over the place and gets in everyone's way, knocking things off counters, stepping in front of your feet, biting and playing with everything on the ground. He is about 3 months old and i have considered getting rid of him... it is sad but he is very mean. He does sleep with me and wants to snuggle sometimes but he is just so wild. Does anyone know of any ways to calm him down?
