Would having three characters with the same letter for a first name drive a reader nuts?

It is your book. If you think the original names fit, then I think you should keep it. :) It'll just be cute/funny to readers when they notice all their names start with an S. Maybe a bit confusing in the beginning, but if the storyline is good and such, readers will adapt!
